FUN TIMES WITH McCAIN IN BAGHDAD
|
On 60 minutes, John McCain said he regrets making what turned out to be entirely delusional comments about public safety in Baghdad ~ while he was recently there pimping for Bush's surge.
But in McCain's telling, according to Tim Grieve, SALON, ~ it's all just part of the fun of who he is and what he does. "Of course I am going to misspeak, and I've done it on numerous occasions and I probably will do it in the future," the Arizona senator says in the interview. "I regret that when I divert attention to something I said from my message, but you know, that's just life. I'm happy, frankly, with the way I operate, otherwise it would be a lot less fun."
How can Americans possibly take John McCain and his candidacy seriously ~ He's a joke and a bad one at that.
